Remember

Remember because everything in this world is designed for forgetting. Because you don’t have to know where all your ancestors were born to know how they cooked for each other and tended and peed. Because pee does not belong in toilets and belonging is all we all ever want. Because domesticated pigs can become wild again and regrow horns in one generation. Because growing and shedding can happen at the same time and can defy time and heal backwards. Because back in the past’s wounds and wisdoms is where the future needs us to be asking.
