Daughters of the patriarchy

For the daughters wish to please their fathers
For the daughters want to make their fathers proud.
For I wish to please my father
…………–       I uphold the patriarchy.

I finetune the systems that I have been taught.
Working cleverly with ever greater efficiency.

I am obstructing my own path
Never having learned the sacredness of the feminine.

I am denying myself my own power,
my own strength, my creativity, my own type of intelligence.
I am denying myself my capacity to feel, to feel into, to feel with;
my intuition, my connectivity,
……………………..my beauty and radiance,
…………………………………………..my charisma,
……………………………………………………..my visions,

……………………………………………………………….my path.

All of this, I put on hold –
………….for I love my father too much.

Enough now. Enough.
Daughters of the patriarchy,
………….have courage! Take heart!

There is work to be done and we have gifts to share.
Deep wisdom to summon
Connections to weave
Flow patterns of love and life to support.

Courageously, we rise.
Embracing our powers,
our intuition, the guidance
of ancient songs sung by the Earth.

For we are mothers with enough love to share.
