“At the Wild edge of a continent, Westwind beach straddles the 45th parallel in central Oregon … a place of perfect balance between the extremes of the North Pole and the Equator. Sand drawings are an easy way to express … this spiral mimics the patterns of the life all around us and our passage through what we call “time”. It was drawn with a stick chewed by some upstream hungry beaver on the Salmon River.”


Duncan Berry has played 20 questions in his 40 year career. Early on exploring the world of minerals as a jeweler, then the world of  plants as a clothing designer for 20 years and now the world of animals at Fishpeople, a sustainable seafood company keeping the value of our natural resources here in our own communities.
